Part-Time Psychiatrist

Teen Therapy Centerand Family Therapy Centerare private mental health practices on the Los Gatos/San Jose border. We provide high-quality mental health care to children, individuals, couples, and families. We are seeking a highly skilled psychiatristto provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing carefor teens and young adults in our Behavioral Medicine Department.

This role starts at 6-10 hours per week with the potential to grow if desired.

Psychiatrist Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluationsfor teens and young adults

• Diagnose and develop treatment plansin collaboration with clients, families, and care teams

• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medicationswhile monitoring effectiveness and side effects

• Provide follow-up carefocused on medication adjustments, symptom monitoring, and lifestyle recommendations

• Coordinate care with therapists, behavioral health providers, and medical professionals as needed

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or DOwith board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry(preferred) or General Psychiatrywith experience treating adolescents

• Active California medical licensein good standing

• Strong background in ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and behavioral challenges

• Commitment to evidence-based careand collaborative treatment approaches

• Energetic, compassionate, and motivated to support youth mental health

• Experience with telepsychiatryis a plus but not required
