Part-Time Psychiatrist
Teen Therapy Centerand Family Therapy Centerare private mental health practices on the Los Gatos/San Jose border. We provide high-quality mental health care to children, individuals, couples, and families. We are seeking a highly skilled psychiatristto provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing carefor teens and young adults in our Behavioral Medicine Department.
This role starts at 6-10 hours per week with the potential to grow if desired.

Psychiatrist Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluationsfor teens and young adults

Diagnose and develop treatment plansin collaboration with clients, families, and care teams

Prescribe and manage psychiatric medicationswhile monitoring effectiveness and side effects

Provide follow-up carefocused on medication adjustments, symptom monitoring, and lifestyle recommendations

Coordinate care with therapists, behavioral health providers, and medical professionals as needed

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Minimum Qualifications:

MD or DOwith board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry(preferred) or General Psychiatrywith experience treating adolescents

Active California medical licensein good standing

Strong background in ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and behavioral challenges

Commitment to evidence-based careand collaborative treatment approaches

Energetic, compassionate, and motivated to support youth mental health

Experience with telepsychiatryis a plus but not required
